Forestweb Inc., a provider of complete outsourced business intelligence solutions for the forest products industry, today announced the new version release of iiPublisher, its powerful web-based publishing application. Already in use by leading forest product companies including Weyerhaeuser, Canfor, and Glatfelter, iiPublisher brings value, simplicity, flexibility, and speed to internal and external communication tasks.

This new version release of iiPublisher provides a unique and powerful feature that allows users to choose content from Forestweb's industry-specific content database and incorporate it alongside company-branded information. The result is a build-on-the-fly email newsletter, extranet or intranet feed that adds value, pulls readers back to the company site, and extends the corporate brand. The iiPublisher tool offers complete control over content, delivery method, distribution lists, and branding. Designed to be simple, flexible, and powerful, iiPublisher is the solution for every communication need.

Heath Frye, marketing manager of Glatfelter’s Printing and Converting Papers, chose iiPublisher as the solution to keeping senior management informed of global events with a daily rich-text email. "iiPublisher allows us to ‘slice and dice’ the information so that it is pertinent to our sector of the industry, with current news, market prices, market analysis and economic indicators. The whole process is automatic, which saves a tremendous amount of time," said Frye.

This second release of iiPublisher expands the easy-to-use rich-text and XML publishing features of the earlier version and can be seamlessly integrated into any department's communication plan. The new release includes news selection by market sector from Forestweb's extensive content database, preformatted email and HTML delivery options, a simplified news entry process for entering corporate messages, and personal header and footer message screens.

iiPublisher joins iiHub as the second offering in Forestweb's iiSolution suite. Supported by proprietary applications and patent-pending data architecture, the iiSolutions product suite is developed to give corporations tools that address the information management challenges in today's business environment.
