FitzGerald Communications, a strategic technology communications agency and an Omnicom company, announced today that it is retained by RedDot Solutions for public relations support, following a successful introduction of the company's flagship product, the RedDot Extended Content Management Suite (XCMS) into the US market.
In October 2003, FitzGerald was hired to position the company within the crowded enterprise content management industry. The New York-based team first refined the company's messages, then worked with the executive team to support key analyst relationships in advance of an aggressive media relations campaign, which broke in January 2004.

In under four months, FitzGerald garnered multiple feature stories for the company and secured 100 percent positive message pickup across leading technology and industry publications such as Computerworld, Portals, Federal Computer Week, EContent, Transform, Intranet Journal and others. Media coverage continues with RedDot's inclusion in KMWorld's '100 Companies that Matter Most in Knowledge Management' scheduled for the April 2004 issue.

Following outreach, a measurement presentation was provided to RedDot detailing the program in full, while providing a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of media results.

"The enthusiasm of the RedDot executive team to contribute to the PR program, coupled with the strength of its product, were instrumental in extending RedDot's position as a prominent player in the industry," explained Maura FitzGerald, CEO of FitzGerald Communications. "Exceeding expectations was crucial in gaining RedDot's confidence and support, and we anticipate great things to come with an ongoing program in place."

"FitzGerald proved to be an excellent partner for our internal team during a pivotal stage of corporate growth," said Kevin Kohn, vice president of marketing at RedDot Solutions. "Their strategic counsel and results, combined with our marketing efforts led to a successful launch, evidenced by increased Web site traffic and multiple sales leads."

FitzGerald will continue to service the RedDot business from its New York City office.

06.04.2004, FitzGerald Communications
