RedDot Solutions, (http://www.reddot.com), provider of enterprise content management solutions, announced today that the State Accident Insurance Fund corporation (SAIF), Oregon's leading workers' compensation insurance company, has selected the RedDot Extended Content Management Suite (XCMS) to improve content retrieval times and reduce intranet operational overhead from supporting HTML tools.

"Our mission at SAIF is to make workers' compensation insurance available to as many Oregon employers as inexpensively as possible. An effective intranet plays a key role in ensuring our competitiveness and our ability to provide customers with accurate information in real time," said Pam Jordan, vice president for information systems at SAIF Corporation. "The RedDot Extended Content Management Suite provides us with the tools that will transform the way we conduct business by empowering all of our employees with seamless management and access to maintain critical information."

SAIF's goal in selecting a content management system was to improve overall efficiency of the intranet while maintaining a consistent look and feel throughout the site. They also needed a system that would enable all departments to own their information without the need for HTML knowledge. SAIF's selection of RedDot XCMS was due to the software's comprehensive tool set that will provide them with the seamless functionality users need to operate and maintain an information-rich intranet.

"RedDot is very excited to have been selected by SAIF to help create an overall efficient process for managing the information on their intranet," said Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. "We are certain that the RedDot Extended Content Management Suite will provide the various departments with an easy way to ensure that information on the site is consistent and quickly accessible."

Quick to implement and easy to use, XCMS has a modular structure that can easily scale to an organization's current or future needs, providing a host of applications including web content management, document management, business process workflow, digital asset management, collaboration, personalization and back-end integration.

About SAIF

The State Accident Insurance Fund (SAIF) has existed in several forms since Oregon's workers' compensation system was established in 1913. Today, SAIF Corporation is a self-supporting, not-for-profit publicly owned workers' compensation insurance company which returns all funds in excess of expenses, claims and claim reserves to its eligible policyholders through dividends, rate reductions and improved services. A five-member board of directors appointed by the Governor establishes direction and policy for the company and appoints the company president. While SAIF operates similarly to other workers' compensation insurance companies, it has a unique mission-to provide economic advantage to Oregon by keeping workers' compensation insurance costs affordable and widely available. SAIF is not supported by tax dollars. Its only income is premiums paid by customers and investment returns on the funds set aside to pay benefits to injured workers. http://www.saif.com
