IXIASOFT, the native XML database and search engine market leader, and Ingeniux, a leading provider of XML-based Web content management and publishing systems, announced today a strategic OEM agreement. Under the agreement, Ingeniux will embed TEXTML Server in an enterprise version of the Ingeniux Content Management System (CMS). The combination of Ingeniux and IXIASOFT XML technologies will provide customers with a highly-scalable, end-to-end XML platform for managing the content lifecycle, including web authoring, document authoring, asset management, workflow, publishing, search, and archiving.

IXIASOFT's TEXTML Server is a powerful XML database and search engine designed for software developers who require advanced storing, indexing, and searching capabilities for their applications. Ingeniux CMS provides a complete Web content management and publishing system for developing, managing and deploying Web content throughout the enterprise. Ingeniux CMS quickly empowers non-technical users to contribute to and manage the Web publishing process -- providing publishers with extended capabilities and effective cost controls.

"The addition of TEXTML Server as the native XML repository for the Ingeniux platform provides tremendous scalability and phenomenal search and retrieval times," said Jim Edmunds, CEO of Ingeniux Corporation. "It gives us the ability to better serve customers who need to manage and publish massive volumes of Web content. It also allows us to extend our feature set in the key areas of search, document management and digital asset management."

"Designed with XML from the ground up, TEXTML Server is a perfect fit with Ingeniux's XML environment. The integration will be seamless and will provide Ingeniux customers with the ability to efficiently store, retrieve, and publish their XML content," said Jean-Paul Chauvet, Vice President of IXIASOFT.

Ingeniux CMS with IXIASOFT TEXTML Server will be commercially available Summer 2004.
