Open Text Announces IDEXX Laboratories' Choice of Livelink To Manage Content

Open Text(TM) Corporation (NASDAQ:OTEX) (TSX:OTC), provider of Livelink(R), the leading collaboration and content management software for the global enterprise, announced today that IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDXX), a worldwide leader in the development and commercialization of innovative products and services for veterinary, food and water applications, has selected Livelink to manage collaboration on manufacturing and other critical process documents.
IDEXX adopted Livelink as its enterprise standard for document management, and to electronically manage changes to complex regulated documents, such as standard operating procedures, as well as other content. Livelink's controls and features for compliance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) 21 CFR Part 11 rules for electronic signatures were significant factors in IDEXX's evaluation.
"Livelink provides an easy-to-access central repository for all of our quality system documents, and the system and controls needed for regulatory compliance," said David SeeHusen, Change Control Manager at IDEXX. "It also provides the controls and workflows we need to automate our processes and make working with these documents much easier."
