ABBYY USA, a recognized leader in intelligent document recognition and linguistic technologies today announced that it will sponsor the Association for Information and Image Management's (AIIM) Content Management Solutions and Financial Services Seminar Series. AIIM is the international authority on Enterprise Content Management.

The goal of the seminar series is to help organizations develop a clear, comprehensive, flexible strategy for managing content and reducing risk in light of increasing industry and government regulations, corporate scandals and tight budgets. With the proliferation of unstructured content such as documents, spreadsheets, emails, Web pages, records and rich media; enterprise content management (ECM) will enable organizations to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver the content that drives and enhances business operations. Anyone just beginning to set a content/document management strategy, needs more information about vendors and solutions available, in the middle of implementing a system, or that needs information about disaster recovery, compliance, security issues and more, should attend the AIIM Content Management Solutions Seminar.

"As an Advisory Trade Member to AIIM, we are pleased to be participating in such an effective, targeted, hands-on content management road-show," said Dean Tang, President and CEO of ABBYY USA. "The 18 cities we'll visit will help us enlist more VARs and integrators into our expanding program, and as well will give us an opportunity meet with those interested in document management -- an important customer segment for ABBYY."

At the seminars, ABBYY will be presenting its latest intelligent document recognition technology -- FlexiCapture Studio. ABBYY FlexiCapture Studio, backed by ABBYY's latest FlexiCapture technology, is an add-on option for both the ABBYY FormReader line of form processing solutions and the ABBYY FineReader Engine, an OCR/ICR/OMR/barcode recognition SDK, to process semi-structured forms and documents. With FlexiCapture Studio and FormReader or FineReader Engine, users can automatically recognize information from various semi-structured forms and documents. It allows system developers to integrate this powerful and flexible tool to build or customize their own automated data-capture applications for processing semi-structured forms and documents.

These two free seminar series span 15 cities from Seattle to Toronto (see http://www.aiim.org/cmseminar/ecmsol.asp?ID=24285 for schedule details) for the CMS shows, and three U.S. cities for the Financial Services Seminar Series (http://www.aiim.org/cmfinance.asp?ID=27637).
