Context Media, Inc. announced the immediate availability of the Context Media Interchange Suite™ Media & Entertainment Edition, the latest version of the company’s industry-leading content integration software solution. The new edition of Interchange Suite includes a number of enhancements that help marketing, brand creators and producers at media and entertainment organizations to easily access and distribute digital assets across divisions, geographies, partners and customers. Context Media leverages years of working with major media clients including, ABC, Bertelsmann, CNN, Discovery Communications and NBC, to design and create the new solution that is running on IBM WebSphere and DB2 Universal Database.
New features available in the Interchange Suite Media & Entertainment Edition include enhanced administration of digital asset integrity and usage across internal and external channels, expanded metadata management capabilities, expanded content presentations, enhanced content notifications and messaging, and extended support for digital repositories from industry-leading document management, content management and digital asset management systems. As a result, media and entertainment organizations now have a single, unified view of their enterprise content and digital media assets no matter where they reside.

Improved Asset Integrity and Channel Distribution: The new solution allows users to share and control asset integrity and distribution in real-time of the most up-to-date multimedia brand content. This ensures the quality of the content and media shared across the enterprise and with critical external trading partners, such as production partners, distributors, retailers, ad agencies and media channels.
Reduced Time to Content: Includes automated proxy generation and presentation, making content acquisition decisions faster. Smart folders allow users to create dynamic personal collections of content that are updated in real-time based on user preferences. This means no more searching through multiple systems and thousands of assets to find the right content.
Improved Collaboration: New collaboration features facilitate the creation of new content combinations, which are essential to multimedia product promotions. These include brand assets such as digital music, point-of-sale offers, photography and more. In addition, it accelerates the time in which marketing and brand organizations can deliver these assets to market. New features allow the seamless creation of virtual Business Partner Collaboration Networks.
