St George’s Hospital Medical School chooses Shado MX to drive its web strategy

St George’s Hospital Medical School, www.sghms.ac.uk has selected ShadoMX, the content management system from Straker Interactive to develop its new feature rich web site.
St George’s Hospital Medical School is the only independently governed medical school in England and the only institution to provide training to a full range of healthcare students on one site. It is developing a new content rich web site to drive its communications strategy for new and existing students.
Working closely with Pixl8 Interactive www.pixl8.co.uk, a premier Shado implementation partner, Shado MX will be implemented to update information across the school’s web platform. This includes up to the minute facilities and services, ranging from: course information, school facilities, news and events, to life on campus and a fully interactive students’ web site.
“We needed an accessible site with a central management tool to make it easy to build and update,” said Derek McGee, the school’s Web project manager. “By using ShadoMX we are able to update our site easily, with feature rich pages of news, and information for students looking to join us. This will be expanded to include our school intranet which will cover everything our existing students need to help them while they’re here.” He added.
“ShadoMX was built and designed to deliver powerful functionality with rapid application,” said Tim Jenkins, MD Straker Interactive. “St George’s Hospital Medical School needed a content management system which enabled it to develop and grow its content rich site simply and effectively. That’s what Shado was developed to do and that’s why they chose it above all others,” he added. 27.04.2004, Jackie Bissell
