obinary ltd., a software development and consulting company, today announces three new customers for its license-free Magnolia content management system. The three customers, Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Mepha Ltd. and Basilea Pharmaceutica AG are in the pharmaceutical business and are based in the biovalley region around Basle, Switzerland.

"It's spring-cleaning time in Switzerland and not only for households. It's a good sign for us that just as the magnolia trees are in blossom our Magnolia content management software is also blossoming in the Swiss software market," commented Pascal Mangold, CEO and founder of obinary.

Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a leading biopharmaceutical company, is presenting its latest annual report using the Magnolia content management system.

Mepha Ltd., the Swiss leader in generic drugs, have switched their intranet system to Magnolia.

Basilea Pharmaceutica AG, who recently made headlines as the first Swiss IPO for 2 years, are communicating their company's goals and strategy via a Magnolia based website.

Obinary is the developer of Magnolia and responsible for the implementation of all three web sites.

"This is a milestone success for our company. Magnolia really pushes the envelope regarding quality, ease-of-use and flexibility. Our customers were among the first to benefit from Magnolia and realize significant savings in license cost compared to commercial alternatives.” said Boris Kraft, CIO of obinary.

Since obinary released Magnolia on November 15th 2003, the content management software has seen more than 25,000 downloads worldwide.
