COVEA Groupe Chooses FileNet ECM to Improve Customer Service

FileNet Corporation, provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, today announced French insurance companies MAAF Assurances and Mutuelles du Mans Assurance (MMA) have chosen FileNet ECM to help reach their goal of "paperless" transactions and claims processing.

The mutual insurance company MAAF Assurances serves more than 3 million individual and professional clients, with property, liability, health, investment, and life insurance products. The mutual insurance company MMA is 170 years old and serves more than 2 million clients. COVEA Groupe, a mutual insurance management company, owns both companies.

As part of an overall plan to go "paperless," MAAF Assurances and MMA, have chosen FileNet ECM to help them increase user efficiency and productivity by simplifying and reducing processing time, improving productivity, and improving visibility.

Specifically, the companies seek to improve access to documents to reduce response time and improve customer service, and improve information exchange among the various participants, while preserving the confidentiality and privacy of content. Additionally, MAAF Assurances and MMA expect to lower costs incurred for paper, photocopies and filing space.
