Documentum, provider of enterprise content management and a division of EMC Corporation, announced that it will showcase its marketing content management solution (MCM) for the retail industry at the Retail Systems 2004/VICS Conference, May 17 - 19, 2004 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The Documentum MCM solution helps retail organizations lower costs and increase efficiency by managing large volumes of marketing and merchandising content associated with promotional product and service campaigns. Using Documentum MCM, organizations can:

- Centralize management of brand assets and merchandising content, allowing employees and partners to easily access the most up-to-date content

- Reuse and repurpose marketing and merchandising elements across multiple product lines and geographies for brand consistency worldwide

- Automate and control distribution of information across the retail supply chain for faster review and approval cycles

- Unify the process of print and web publishing on a single platform, reducing operating costs

Retail Systems 2004/VICS Collaborative Commerce brings together all segments of retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG) and apparel to discuss internal and external IT and business process issues. This year's event will feature more than 280 exhibitors demonstrating the latest retail technologies and business solutions.
