Terradon Communications Group Offers ASP Customers Powerful Content Security Using Aladdin eSafe

Aladdin Knowledge Systems, Inc. announced that West Virginia-based Terradon
Communications Group (TCG) selected the Aladdin eSafe(R) content security solution as its tool for comprehensive anti-virus, anti-vandal and anti-spam protection for more than 300 of Terradon's Application Service Provider (ASP) customers.
An Aladdin eSafe user itself, TCG also served as a reseller of the eSafe solution prior to the expanded use. "We have been depending on eSafe for our own security and also reselling the solution since 2001. We've had excellent, consistent feedback from customers and decided to use the product for our ASP customers as well. Out of the box, it offers more protection than any other solution," said Keith Morgan, computer security engineer at Terradon Communications Group (TCG).
"One of the key deciding factors that led to us choosing eSafe was its low false positives for catching spam," Morgan said. "Customers truly notice a difference with eSafe, just as we did. Because of eSafe, many of the organizations have a zero infection rate enterprise wide. The decision to use eSafe in an ASP role was simply based on the customer demand the high quality of the product. Proactive vandal protection and file spoofing protection contribute to its unique power."
eSafe provides unparalleled protection against viruses, worms, spam and non-productive content. eSafe also features its new Applifilter(TM), application-level filtering technology that addresses the new generation of threats including network-level malicious code attacks, P2P, Instant Messaging, Spyware and other unauthorized HTTP tunneling applications.
"TCG's migration from a user, to a reseller, to employing the solution within a hosting environment that includes Fortune 500 corporate Web sites dependant on eSafe, illustrates eSafe's consistent, proactive technology that continues to protect against large virus outbreaks and the ongoing onslaught of spam," said Shimon Gruper, vice president of technologies, Aladdin eSafe Business Unit. "We're pleased to work with TCG as their use of eSafe continues to expand with their ASP business." 18.05.2004, Aladdin
