Stellent, Inc., provider of content management solutions, announced that Agilent Technologies, technology provider of communications, electronics, life sciences and chemical analysis, has licensed the Stellent(R) Sarbanes-Oxley Solution. The deployment of this software solution - beginning this month - is an extension of Agilent's existing Stellent Universal Content Management implementation.

The Stellent Sarbanes-Oxley Solution is designed to help companies streamline their processes for complying with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. It allows organizations to more easily manage and approve documentation related to financial and non-financial disclosures as well as Section 404 compliance. The product also enables companies to address the requirements related to initial documentation and identification of key processes and controls as mandated by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. In addition, it automates testing processes to ease ongoing resource requirements.

The Stellent Sarbanes-Oxley Solution is highly personalized for non-technical business users, such as auditors, accountants and chief financial officers (CFOs), and features a user-friendly interface that utilizes field-specific terminology and guides people through the system.

According to Agilent, the company selected the Stellent solution due to its business-focused user interface and strong back-end functionality, which includes document revision control, audit trail, security, workflow and conversion of standard document formats to PDF. Agilent also chose the Stellent Sarbanes-Oxley Solution because it easily integrates with other technology systems related to email and project management.

"We are pleased Agilent has selected the Stellent Sarbanes-Oxley Solution," said Robert Olson, president and chief executive officer for Stellent. "The solution allows all parties involved in the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process to quickly, easily and securely create, manage, share, track, approve and archive all information pertaining to disclosures and financial reporting. It can be quickly deployed and requires minimal training, enabling customers to effectively tackle this document-intensive government regulation."

Stellent Sarbanes-Oxley Solution Features

Stellent provides content management-based solutions to help companies streamline processes related to complying with a variety of government regulations, such as the Patriot Act, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The Stellent Sarbanes-Oxley Solution allows companies to efficiently manage and approve content related to financial and non-financial disclosures as well as documentation associated with an organization's Section 404 compliance process. The solution is based on the award-winning Stellent Universal Content Management system, which provides a single product architecture offering Web content management, document management, collaboration, records management and digital asset management.
