Procera Networks Aquires Intellectual Property of Ezyte, Inc.

Procera Networks, Inc., developer of network secure content management (SCM) products and services, is pleased to announce its acquisition of the intellectual property of Ezyte, Inc. ("Ezyte"), a system performance management company located in Saratoga, California. Ezyte offered products and services for system performance management of packet switching networks, high performance routers, Internet architecture, wireless Internet and storage systems. Ezyte has developed high performance algorithms and architectures for storage systems like RAID (redundant array of disks), SAN (storage area network), Remote Copy, Disaster Recovery, Cache Servers, etc. Procera plans to use Ezyte's technology to expedite new offerings for storage applications and content filtering.

Doug Glader, CEO of Procera, stated, "This acquisition of intellectual property of Ezyte greatly enhances Procera's technology leadership as we address the intelligent content management and productivity of the enterprise from secure network traffic through effective storage and retrieval of mission critical information."

Dr. Anil Sahai, former CEO of Ezyte and current Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Procera Networks, commented, "This acquisition is both tactical and strategic. Ezyte's technology in the performance architecture and management of packet switching greatly augments our core wire-speed information processing capabilities. Ezyte has developed high performance algorithms and architectures for data storage and cache servers. Ezyte's IP in the performance architecture of storage systems like RAID, SAN, Backup Solutions and Disaster Recovery, will enable us to enhance and expedite our value offerings in the fast growing storage applications market as one of the world's first hardware based content filtering appliance".
