Captiva Software Corp., provider of input management solutions, announced that James Watson, CEO and founder of Doculabs, and John Rome, founder and vice-chairman of Imaging Acceptance Corp. (IAC), will deliver the keynote addresses at Capture 2004, Captiva's Enterprise Input Management Technology Conference. The event takes place July 19-20 in San Diego and will offer attendees an opportunity to exchange ideas and explore the latest advancements powering the information capture market. Both keynote addresses will take place the morning of Tuesday, July 20.
Watson's address will focus on the current state and future direction of the enterprise input management (EIM) market, one of the fastest growing segments of the enterprise content management (ECM) space. He will also discuss Doculabs' independent review of Captiva's Digital Mailroom, an overall assessment of the technology, its value proposition and its ability to address key customer and market needs. Under Watson's direction, Doculabs has firmly established a leadership position in offering unbiased, real-world product assessments in the ECM realm.
Rome's keynote will describe how the processing of incoming documents, forms and transactions has evolved, and what the future looks like for mail processing. Rome is a pioneer in providing customers high-volume systems for turning paper mail into streamlined electronic content. IAC develops technologies and services for users to file and retrieve paper and mail electronically on their public and private network Web sites faster, cheaper and safer than they can file the paper itself.
