Interwoven, Inc., an enterprise content management (ECM) company, announced that enterprise customers continue to rely on the combined strength of Interwoven's flagship Web content management (WCM) and leading digital asset management (DAM) products.

Customers that leverage both TeamSite Content Server software and MediaBin Asset Server software include:

* British Telecom: The UK's largest telecommunications firm's BT.com portal is based on Interwoven and BEA;

* Deere & Co: One of the world's two largest makers of farm equipment, Deere also is a leading producer of industrial, forestry, and lawn-care equipment;

* Eurocontrol: The Brussels-based Pan-European system for the safety of air navigation relies on Interwoven for internal and externally-facing Websites;

* Glaxo SmithKlein: One of the top five pharmaceutical firms in the world with more than 100,000 employees globally;

* Samsonite: The world's #1 luggage maker under brand names including Samsonite and American Tourister, its products are available in more than 100 countries and through 200 company-owned stores.

"Customers continue to use the combined power of MediaBin and TeamSite for initiatives ranging from worldwide advertising to online product catalogs," says Kevin Hayden, vice president of corporate marketing for Interwoven. "Customers are delivering marketing content to front-line sales and distributors faster, and customizing content to meet the needs of specific prospects, distributors, and local markets around the world."

Customers Derive Added Value from TeamSite and MediaBin

Integration of MediaBin and TeamSite allows customers to extract additional value from both products. A standard component of MediaBin Asset Server 4.0, the TeamSite Connector enables TeamSite users to quickly locate and utilize rich media assets maintained within a MediaBin Asset Server. Using the connector yields substantial benefits, including:

* Brand Consistency: Published renditions of digital assets are always properly formatted and up-to-date across all Internet-based applications;

* Increased Productivity, Speed, and Cost Savings: TeamSite users can quickly render images from MediaBin into TeamSite in exactly the right size and format. Jobs that used to represent a time-consuming manual process are now easily automated, speeding Web publishing tasks while reducing costs. When source assets within MediaBin are revised, renditions of those assets within TeamSite are updated automatically whenever the site is regenerated from TeamSite.
