Interwoven and Workshare Partner to Launch the Legal Document Acceleration Suite
Interwoven, Inc., an enterprise content management (ECM) company, and Workshare, provider of content change applications for professionals, announced the availability of the Legal Document Acceleration Suite (LDAS). Designed as the ultimate document productivity solution for corporate and law firm settings, the LDAS is the first end-to-end integrated solution for efficiently generating, controlling and protecting legal documents when routing them via e-mail to multiple parties.
The LDAS dramatically reduces time spent on non-billable tasks for law firms -- allowing them to provide better and more effective client service. The LDAS seamlessly combines key features of Interwoven's Worksite 8 collaborative document and e-mail management platform with the Workshare 3 application for managing document changes in one solution. The LDAS integrates directly with Microsoft Word to ensure that document versions, edits, comments and e-mail communications remain linked and review cycles stay efficient and on track. As a result, the LDAS can reduce the number of tedious, manual steps involved in producing, managing and distributing complex legal documents by up to 70%, enabling higher productivity and compliance with the firm's risk management goals.
