Enterprise Web Content Management with icoya for the SAP Enterprise Portal

struktur AG announces the signing of a software partner agreement with SAP AG. As SAP AG software partner, struktur AG offers an integrated solution for enterprise web content management with the SAP Enterprise Portal through its icoya OpenContent. With icoya OpenContent, the icoya Risk Management / Issue Tracker for the SAP Enterprise Portal is also available. Within the framework of the software partnership, struktur AG will offer its products for electronic forms (eForms), digital signature (Signature Server), and the saving of form data in 2-dimensional barcodes for the SAP Enterprise Portal. At the same time, this cooperation strengthens the leading position of struktur AG in the enterprise web content management market.

The products icoya OpenContent for SAP Enterprise Portal and icoya Risk / Issue Manager are certified for the SAP Enterprise Portal and enable cost-efficient as well as comfortable management of (web-) documents and company wide workflows. Companies profit from the fully integrated solutions and can manage, process, and publish all company information in a unified environment. Over the SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP and non-SAP applications are easily integrated via uniform interfaces. Pre-defined contents (Business Packages) and the utilization of standardized interfaces lead to the reduction of implementation time and costs while increasing the safety of software investments.

Single-Sign-On automatically registers portal users in the system management, enabling them to add and manage content, as well as retrieve information dependent upon company wide access rights and authorization processes. The application integration is seamless: icoya OpenContent is bound to the Enterprise Portal over SAP iView technology. With the design of the public release process, icoya OpenContent presents the utmost flexibility and enables the reproduction of all existing and future workflows.

The connection to Novell eDirectory and Microsoft Active Directory Services offers businesses unified, centralized management of workflows, roles and user data, thereby considerably reducing administrative expenditures. Thanks to icoya TREX-Connection, published icoya OpenContent information can be searched and categorized within the knowledge management of the SAP Enterprise Portal. Portal users can, therefore, directly access documents in icoya. Additionally, different portal views can be customized by each business.
