Kintera(r) Inc., provider of software as a service to nonprofit organizations, announced that it has been ranked by ASPnews as one of the world's 25 leading ASPs in the "provider" category. ASPnews, a premier source of news and analysis for and about the industry and part of the internet.com network of Jupitermedia Corp. (NASDAQ:JUPM), posts their choices for the top 25 providers and top 25 enablers (enablers are middleware vendors like IBM, BEA, Microsoft, PeopleSoft, Oracle) on its website at www.aspnews.com/top50.

As stated in their website, for inclusion in the ASPnews Top 25 Providers list, companies must meet the following criteria:

* Be recognized as a leader by others within the industry

* Be innovators in the online delivery of software-based services

* Have a substantial and active end-user customer base for those services

* Have the provision of network-based applications and/or services as their core business

* Be able to demonstrate proven revenue streams

Driven by innovation, Kintera is making a difference in the nonprofit community. A web browser is all that is needed to access Kintera's easy-to-use system for fundraising and special events, membership and eCommerce, content managed websites (CMS), email and eNewsletters, activism and advocacy, database management (CRM), and payment processing. Kintera helps nonprofit organizations -- large and small -- increase donations, reduce fundraising costs, and build awareness and affinity for their cause.

"It is an honor to be recognized by ASPnews as an industry leader," said Ephraim Feig, chief technology officer and chief marketing officer for Kintera. "All of the companies on the list -- including Salesforce.com, WebEx, WebSideStory, Atomz, Corio, and NetSuite -- are trendsetters, confirming the software as a service business model, and helping more and more customers learn about its advantages."
