Percussion(R) Software, developer of practical software solutions enabling customers to maximize the value and quality of enterprise content, announced that BankAtlantic, one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Florida, has selected the company's Rhythmyx(TM) 5 Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution to improve and enhance its content production process and to manage its Web site more efficiently. Based in Fort Lauderdale, BankAtlantic is a subsidiary of BankAtlantic Bancorp, a diversified financial services holding company. BankAtlantic operates 73 branch locations and more than 200 ATMs throughout Florida.

The BankAtlantic Web site is an integral part of the bank's branding strategy, providing customers and prospects with the latest information on its products, services and special offers, as well as the ability to conduct transactions online. To improve the publishing of its content, BankAtlantic sought a content management system that could extend the content authoring and maintenance processes to its line-of-business users across the bank and free its technical team to focus on more strategic projects. After a careful competitive evaluation, BankAtlantic chose Percussion's Rhythmyx 5.

"We have tens of thousands of customers using our Web site as a primary tool for doing their banking," said Tim Cooke, Senior Vice President and Manager of Systems Integration at BankAtlantic. "As Florida's Most Convenient Bank, BankAtlantic is committed to providing the best Internet banking site available in the market. Percussion's Rhythmyx 5 was the only solution that offered the De-coupled Delivery architecture we needed to improve the reliability and cost-effectiveness of the new Web site we are developing. In addition, its content reuse capabilities will enable us to redeploy some of our technical staff who had been spending time manually implementing content changes. We also needed a CMS that could be dynamic and easily support changes. In short, Rhythmyx 5 was the only solution that offered everything we needed."

"Retail banking has demanding content management requirements," said Barry Reynolds, president and CEO of Percussion Software. "Consumers expect financial services content to be accurate, fresh and personalized, all at the same time. In this competitive environment, it takes a sophisticated product like Rhythmyx 5 to manage content proactively and enable content reuse throughout the entire content lifecycle. This ensures that all customers and prospects are properly serviced. Rhythmyx 5 offers BankAtlantic a comprehensive solution to meet their content management challenges."

Rhythmyx 5 is an award-winning ECM solution that combines industry-first capabilities to solve the key problems of enterprise content management: content reuse and multi-channel delivery of documents, web sites, images and digital assets. Namely, Rhythmyx provides the industry's only De-Coupled Delivery architecture for cost-effective scaling; the industry's first Intelligent Relationship capability for proactively managing all content dependencies and connections; and Active Assembly, a unique graphical user interface for enabling business users to easily reuse content. Rhythmyx's Intelligent Relationships capability enables proactive management of the connections or dependencies among enterprise content ensuring no incorrect or untimely content is published. Active Assembly enables enterprise content to be organized and grouped for documents and Web pages without the need for costly and time-consuming template redesigns from developers.
