PremierSBS and DNA Press announced completion of a customized content management system (CMS) deployed as the primary DNA Press corporate website and information portal. The system deployment completes stage 1 of a 3 stage process to build and deploy a cost effective content management system for publishing professionals.

PremierSBS provides several technology based solutions including web design, web hosting, content management systems (CMS), custom application development, IT consulting, and internet marketing. PremierSBS’s emphasis on cost effective internet technologies provides DNA Press with several advantages such as: rapid content updates, enhanced information exchange for different categories of clients, platform independence (PC, PALM, WinCE, etc), and publishing-centric advertising services.

Xela Schenk, Ph.D., a Logistics Manager for DNA Press, stated "we are extremely pleased with the progress so far, both from a technology perspective but also with the customer service of PremierSBS. Our current system provides a solid framework on which we can build additional tools to enhance DNA Press’s growing role within the publishing field. Feedback from existing and prospective clients has been very positive."

Stage 2 of the project involves additional integration of ecommerce, online digital publishing (e-books) and advertising management to be completed in Q4 of 2004.

PremierSBS uses Sitellite 4 Content Management System from SIMIAN Systems Inc. as an open source content management system and framework for the DNA Press system. Sitellite is built from the ground up to be a powerful, well designed framework emphasizing cross platform compatibility and ease of use.
