Stellent, Inc. (Nasdaq: STEL), a global provider of content management solutions, announced today that QLogic Corp., a developer of storage networking infrastructure components, has selected Stellent® Universal Content Management to support its enterprise-wide Web content management strategy, which encompasses 14 Web sites.

Initially, QLogic will use the Stellent system to consolidate multiple partner/OEM extranets into a single platform and publish content to its corporate Web site, www.qlogic.com. The company also will utilize the system to support numerous customer-facing Web sites, particularly during product launches when new content needs to be quickly delivered via the Web.

“We selected Stellent Universal Content Management because it provides us with a content management infrastructure that allows us to manage and consolidate all unstructured Web content within a common repository accessible through a single user interface,” said Eric Bauer, director of marketing, QLogic Corp. “This functionality will eliminate multiple instances and versions of content across our sites. In addition, Stellent’s personalization features will enable our content authors to effectively deliver specific content to targeted audiences.”

The Stellent software suite will empower QLogic’s non-technical employees to build, rapidly deploy and maintain its Web sites — and the content that resides on them — without assistance from the IT department. The system also provides QLogic with needed workflow and collaboration, security, and automated Web site publishing functionalities. In the future, QLogic plans to integrate Stellent Universal Content Management with a portal system to further expand its Web sites’ personalization capabilities.

“A growing number of customers, like QLogic, are using our software to successfully manage multiple Web sites within a common content management framework,” said Robert Olson, president and chief executive officer for Stellent. “This ability often enables companies to decrease Web site development and maintenance costs, as well as maintain accurate, timely and current Web content with consistent branding and presentation across all company sites.”
