AcroSoft Releases Insurance Content Management Solution 3.5 and .NET Direction

AcroSoft Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of its latest release for its Insurance Content Management (ICM) solution. With ICM Release 3.5, the company continues to enhance its ICM solution to support the insurance industry's business requirements for document and content information management.

"Additional information requirements placed on the insurance industry over the past two-and-a-half years have created new information, security and workflow responsibilities. Our focus is on the insurance industry, and with this release we provide greater security and tighter integration to our clients' existing policy administration and claims processing systems. We have also developed AcroSoft Connectors for several popular claims and administration products allowing for extremely rapid data integration," said Paul Butare, Chairman and President of AcroSoft Corporation.

Already a feature and function rich insurance content management solution, AcroSoft ICM Release 3.5 increases workflow functionality and heightens database support for DB2 and SQL Server as well as other ODBC-compliant databases. AcroSoft is expanding existing web support to allow agents, field personal, and policyholders greater access to information.

Additionally, AcroSoft has announced its move to a Microsoft .NET implementation. "This strategic shift will allow us to continue developing and releasing scalable applications and enhancements built on the proven Microsoft suite of products and technologies," adds Chuck Wilson, AcroSoft's CIO. "The implementation of .NET within our product suite reinforces our interest of integrating our solution within our customers' business processing environments by introducing additional techniques," Wilson said. "AcroSoft's reporting dashboard is designed and built from scratch using the .NET framework, giving customers the choice to implement reports in any .NET compliant language. By extending the rendering component, customers can visualize reports using many popular charting and reporting solutions."
