TripleHop Technologies, developer of context-sensitive enterprise search software, announced its MatchPoint(TM) 3.2 Enterprise Edition received the prestigious Trend-setter product award from KMWorld for the second consecutive year.

TripleHop also announced this week MatchPoint(TM) 3.2 Office Edition providing end users with a single, end-to-end search tool that uses their familiar Microsoft(R) Office search dialog to find the precise data they need quickly from the desktop, the Internet or other internal/external data sources. MatchPoint Office, an integration of TripleHop's contextual search technology and Microsoft Office, completely eliminates the need to use multiple search engines.

"We are very pleased to receive the KMWorld Trend-setter award for content management for the second consecutive year," says Renaud Laplanche, CEO, TripleHop Technologies. "This award, along with the nine other awards and nominations we've received since 2003, further demonstrates we provide customers with a winning enterprise search solution." Laplanche adds, "Adding to our milestone week, we're pleased to deliver MatchPoint Office to users--making it even easier for them to search their entire information universe from Microsoft Office."

Customers of the award-winning MatchPoint 3.2 Enterprise Edition agree the solution is truly a 'Trend-setter' in enterprise search. "We spent a lot of time analyzing the market before selecting our search vendor, and TripleHop Technologies quickly stood out as one of the most innovative and exciting vendors out there," says Louis Chen, Chief Information Officer, Houlihan Lokey. "MatchPoint's ability to do both indexed and federated searching, real time results clustering and concept searching, in addition to the product's service-oriented and highly scalable architecture, struck us as (criteria of) a truly next generation enterprise search product."

According to KMWorld, the Trend-setter selection criteria involved discussions with editorial colleagues, a host of analysts and users--running the gamut from C-level executives to entry-level knowledge workers. KMWorld lists some 58 companies in its September issue. KMWorld considered more than 200 vendors, with a combined product line-up of more than 1,000 separate offerings. Each company/product listed holds promise for the marketplace, even if the marketplace has yet to realize it.
