Revize(R) CMS Web Content Management Software has been chosen by Compsat Technologies for its flexibility and customizable characteristics, announced George Cameron, President and CEO of Idetix.

Ellen Bourke, Account Executive, Compsat Technologies, explained, "E-commerce has become a requirement for doing business. Our clients are demanding it. We are using Revize CMS as a development platform for a custom web-enabled application that our clients will use to configure and order our products. This will significantly reduce the cycle time between our clients asking for a system quotation, providing that quote and placing the order. Order accuracy will also significantly improve."

Compsat chose Revize, said Bourke, because it was inexpensive and customizable. Further, she said, "with the Revize webSpace technology, we can add to other areas of our business when we are ready. We'll be able to leverage our investment in Revize CMS by using the full web content management capabilities of the product on our Internet, Intranet and Extranet."

Compsat Technology is a leading provider of data storage, server and storage management solutions and services. Compsat offers clients a complete range of open, interoperable, and scaleable solutions that are necessary to protect, consolidate, share, and utilize critical corporate information. Compsat's mission is to simplify data storage management and empower clients with increased control and performance of their complex storage environments.

Compsat's Professional Services Division offers the critical technical skills required to deliver a variety of consulting services, including analysis of existing business infrastructure, project management, solution implementation, and skills training/transfer. Compsat Technology operates a state-of-the art demonstration and training facility called the Data Solutions Center where clients can get first hand experience with the latest enterprise storage, server and backup solutions.

Idetix is the first company to market a commercial off-the-shelf enterprise Web Content Management solution that is a cost-effective, user-friendly software package. In addition, the software has a unique technology marketed as Revize webSpaces(TM) that makes the offering a product of choice for the enterprise who seeks to offer Web Content Management as a hosted solution (i.e., ASP/Service-based computing model) for their diverse computing needs.

Unlike homegrown, forms-based systems, Idetix has commercialized Revize so that business owners can participate in the control of their Web-based initiatives and have a single point of accountability when a problem develops.

Cameron further explained, "We have built Revize CMS with the pragmatic customer in mind. We understand that the purchasing decision for any enterprise, whether large or small must include flexible options that allow the customer to shop for the "best in class" suppliers of both software and Web development services. Idetix has solved this problem with JAVA-based Revize that is a deployment and developer independent solution with a cost in the thousands, not hundreds of thousands of dollars per Web Site."
