Miller Systems, one of Boston's premier technology consulting firms specializing in the design and development of elegant online user experiences, announced that it has reached an agreement with long-time partner RedDot Solutions, to provide a hosted version of the company's XCMS enterprise content management solution. The solution is targeted to small and middle market customers who require the features and functionality found in enterprise content management tools, but have limited budgets and need only to manage a single web property.

"This unique offering meets the needs of forward looking small and middle market companies who understand the value of leveraging an industry-standard, commercially supported content management system for their web properties," said Seth Miller, Founder and CEO of Miller Systems, Inc. "By offering an affordable, hosted version of RedDot's software, we can provide these companies with the functionality they need now, while giving them a zero- services cost and one business day migration path to a broader, licensed system as they grow."

For thousands of dollars less than licensing an enterprise content management solution, the RedDot software hosted by Miller Systems features business process/workflow, multiple language support, simplified web application integration, multiple publishing variants (including wireless, print-friendly, and others), and all of the other powerful features found in RedDot's XCMS enterprise content management solution. Moreover, by leveraging the same RedDot software available in a licensed version, Miller Systems can provide its hosted offering customers with a zero cost, one day migration to a broader licensed RedDot solution. This is an ideal option for customers planning to publish more web properties as their business grows.

With nearly ten years in the web design and development business and over a dozen RedDot projects completed in the last two years, Miller Systems is in an ideal position to offer such a solution. Its deep and broad experience with RedDot's tools allow Miller Systems to get customer web sites, intranets, and other web properties designed and launched very quickly, in about a month. The Miller Systems' hosted RedDot solution joins an already impressive set of Miller Systems managed hosting services, which have been co-located at a Tier 1 data center for over five years.

"Today's savvy customer recognizes the value of leveraging a commercially supported system over the inherent risk associated with developing or buying 'homegrown' content management," said Detlef Kamps, President of RedDot Solutions. "Miller Systems' hosted RedDot offering is in line with our philosophy of offering software solutions that are cost effective and easy to use. This hybrid approach provides an excellent alternative for customers that would otherwise be limited in their options for CMS due to price constraints, or access to critical functionality, training, and support. We're confident that this plug-and-play offering from Miller Systems will meet with positive market response."

The Miller Systems' hosted RedDot Solutions software offering is available immediately in the US from Miller Systems.
