Idetix Software Systems', www.idetix.com, Revize(R) Web Content Management Software has been chosen by Cooper Cameron, www.coopercameron.com, for its reasonable cost, announced George Cameron, President and CEO of Idetix.

"We are pleased that a major corporation such as Cooper Cameron has chosen Revize to help them keep their web content current and accessible to their customers and employees," said Cameron. "I believe businesses have arrived at the discovery stage when it comes to web content management. Soon others, such as Cooper Cameron, will begin to see the value of exciting and current content on their websites."

Alan Young, e-Business Manager, Cooper Cameron, said, "Our challenge has been keeping our website content fresh and up to date. We could not wait for our programmers to update our content and began our search for a web content management software provider. We chose Revize because of price - it is a lot less expensive than the Microsoft solution."

Cooper Cameron Corporation (NYSE:CAM) is a leading international manufacturer of oil and gas pressure control equipment, including valves, wellheads, controls, chokes, blowout preventers and assembled systems for oil and gas drilling, production and transmission used in onshore, offshore and subsea applications. Cooper Cameron is also a leading manufacturer of centrifugal air compressors, integral and separable reciprocating engines, compressors and turbochargers.

Idetix is the first company to market a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) enterprise Web Content Management solution that is a cost-effective, user-friendly software package. In addition, the software has a unique technology marketed as Revize webSpaces(TM) that makes the offering a product of choice for the enterprise who seeks to offer Web Content Management as a hosted solution (i.e., ASP/Service-based computing model) for their diverse computing needs.

Unlike homegrown, forms-based systems, Idetix has commercialized Revize so that business owners can participate in the control of their Web-based initiatives and have a single point of accountability when a problem develops.

Cameron further explained, "We have built Revize with the pragmatic customer in mind. We understand that the purchasing decision for any enterprise, whether large or small must include flexible options that allow the customer to shop for the "best in class" suppliers of both software and Web development services. Idetix has solved this problem with JAVA-based Revize that is a deployment and developer independent solution with a cost in the thousands, not hundreds of thousands of dollars per Web Site."

10.09.2004, Idetix Software Systems
