RedDot Solutions, provider of enterprise content management solutions, announced that two leading Canadian-based organizations have selected RedDot Solutions to address their content management needs. Hydro-Quebec, a major producer, transmission provider and distributor of electricity in North America, has selected the RedDot Extended Content Management Solution (XCMS) to manage the content and information across its intranet sites, and United Auto Parts (UAP) has chosen RedDot Content Management Server (CMS) with RedDot LiveServer to manage and personalize content on its Web site.

InterDoc, a Canadian RedDot Solutions partner specializing in consulting and integration, supported both the Hydro-Quebec and the UAP content management projects.

"In today's fast-paced business climate, organizations find that content management is an essential component to improve business efficiency and productivity," said Detlef Kamps, president of RedDot Solutions. "Hydro-Quebec and United Auto Parts are no exception, and we are thrilled to help these two industry leaders maximize business processes throughout their internal and external Web sites."

"Hydro-Quebec provides energy to more than three million consumers in Quebec", said Claude Malaison, Hydro-Quebec Intranet Co-ordinator at the Corporate Communications department. "Our many internal information and business processes which run through our 500-plus intranet sites need to be efficient and run smoothly every day. RedDot XCMS is the best solution to help us run these critical elements of our business."

United Auto Parts selected RedDot CMS to manage its online content for the UAP intranet site. They also selected RedDot LiveServer to deliver relevant, personalized content based on the individual visiting the intranet.

"InterDoc was delighted to work in partnership with United Auto Parts as their intranet's integrator and information architect," said Danny Boulanger, President and CEO of InterDoc. "RedDot's CMS and RedDot LiveServer were selected following an extensive evaluation process, and we found that no other company matched the value and robust feature set that RedDot provides. RedDot Solutions will help United Auto Parts to better create efficiency and productivity in their Web content management processes."

The latest version of RedDot's XCMS enterprise content management system launched in June 2004. With this new version, organizations can manage all the elements of unstructured content that flow throughout their organization from a single sign-on user interface. The solution's modular setup also allows organizations the freedom to develop a phased approach to fulfilling their content management needs; clients select various modules to manage content as their organizations grow.

Both Hydro-Quebec and RedDot Solutions will be presenters at the prestigious Intracom 2004 Intranet Conference, November 9-11 in Montreal.

26.10.2004, RedDot Solutions
