Neogent Announces New Higher Education Practice

Neogent, Inc., provider of enterprise content, compliance and secure identity solutions, announced its Higher Education Practice designed to significantly improve the enterprise content management strategy of educational institutions around the country. The new services, combined with Vignette's innovative solutions, give education customers the technology and education-specific methodologies they need to manage documents and information.

"Neogent's service offerings have proven beneficial to Vignette customers," said Mark Belles, vice president of strategic alliances and business development at Vignette. "We look forward to working with the professionals in Neogent's new Higher Education Practice and to previewing the new service at Vignette Village."

Neogent's Higher Education Practice has already demonstrated success with some of the country's leading institutions, including the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) and Arizona State University (ASU).

"Neogent and Vignette are dedicated to helping organizations efficiently manage their enterprise documents and content so they can achieve the benefits of a web-enabled enterprise," said Jess Moore, vice president of sales for Neogent. "By working with Vignette, we can help organizations reach this goal by making it easier to access and manage distributed enterprise content."

The announcement was made in San Antonio, Texas at Vignette Village 2004, Vignette's annual world-wide user conference where Neogent is showcasing its new services and success stories. The Vignette Village audience includes more than 1,000 current and prospective customers, industry and financial analysts and partners attending the three-day North American event and sister events worldwide.
