VIA NET.WORKS USA launchs new eCommerce solution with QualiSite CMS

The US-subsidiary of VIA NET.WORKS Inc., has launched its new eCommerce Solution on schedule on November 1st, 2004 in Atlanta. PGK Software & Communication GmbH has developed the system on the basis of it's .NET-Content Management System QualiSite and .NET. It allows fully automtic sales of Windows Shared Hosting through the Internet.
Integral part of the new solution is a shopping basket for the individual configuration and selection of the desired hosting products. The chosen webspace can be increased for example or additional services as SharePoint Hosting can be booked with the package. Even the desired domain names can be checked online and added to the basket.
It was the declared objective of this project to fully automate all processes. The credit card of the customer for example is being collected in real-time. At the same time the transaction is being booked in the centralized invoicing system of VIA and a PDF-invoice will be generated. Recurring collections will be processed later on in the same way.
Directly after an order has been placed the hosting accounts will be created according to the individual configuration of the customer. Domains are registered at this occasion as well. The customer can take access to his account just a few minutes after ordering - even on weekends, of course!
