Visit

This measurement defines the number of visits to a website. It serves as an indicator of the absolute value of the number of contacts in which the number of new and repeat contacts can not be differentiated between. An visit is considered the accessing by a browser from outside the affected website. According to IVW practices, a new visit is one in which a minimum of sixty seconds has passed since the last time the site was accessed by a particular user. The number of visits is not necessarily the number of unique users.
